Hi friends!
We are Bree and Thy, the philanthropy co-chairs for this upcoming 2024-2025 school year! ASH is excited to announce that we will be collaborating with Brazos Mobile Food Pantry, an organization that helps the Bryan-College Station community by providing fresh, frozen, and perishable goods directly to food desert communities. The program serves about 200-400 families every month and helps provide healthy food alternatives in order to maintain a healthy diet. The mobile aspect of the pantry enables the distribution to occur where it is most needed with the help of volunteers. ASH girls participate in meal distributions monthly and create donation boxes filled with daily essentials, like toothpaste or socks, that can be passed out at the meal distributions. Starting in January, the Mobile Pantry will be a physical location under the name A Hopeful Harvest. We are thrilled to transition with them and spread their message across the Texas A&M campus! We look forward to the upcoming year and have many events planned, be on the lookout for more updates along the way!
